Deploying on Synology NAS

Note: This SPK is officially provided by RepoFlow through the RepoFlow Synology repository. Add the repository as a package source in Package Center to install it.

The RepoFlow SPK installs a Container Manager project and stores its repository artifacts, PostgreSQL data, server logs, and vulnerability scanner data in the Synology package data directory.

Requirements​

  • Synology DSM 7
  • Synology Container Manager
  • A NAS using the x86_64 or armv8 architecture
  • Permission to add package sources in Package Center

Install RepoFlow​

  1. Open Package Center → Settings → Package Sources in DSM.

  2. Add a package source named RepoFlow with this location:

    https://api.repoflow.io/synology/repoflow-public/synology-public

  3. Find RepoFlow in Package Center and select Install. Package Center selects the package matching your NAS architecture.

  4. Complete the installation wizard:

    • Set the public URL used to open RepoFlow.
    • Choose an available HTTP port. The default is 9080.
    • Set the initial administrator username and password.
    • Optionally add supported RepoFlow server environment variables in the advanced step.

  5. After installation, open RepoFlow from its DSM shortcut.

RepoFlow stores package data under its Synology package data directory by default. The exact volume path is managed by DSM.

Important limitations​

  • The package is distributed through the RepoFlow package source rather than Synology's default package catalog.
  • Smart search is disabled because the SPK deployment does not include Elasticsearch.
